Warner Releases The Twisted Terror DVD Collection

Warner Home Video is taking advantage of their horror library by releasing a new DVD collection. The Twisted Terror Collection has six films including the barely-counts-as-horror film THE HAND, the anthology From Beyond the Grave, DR. GIGGLES, Wes Craven’s DEADLY FRIEND, EYES OF A STANGER, and another high rise stalker flick SOMEONE’S WATCHING ME.

Dexter Season 2 Coming in September

Dexter is coming back with a great line up for Season 2. Remember the show about the forensics analyst that serial kills other serial killers? Well, it will be here this September and actor Keith Carradine joins the cast. The cast and crew were at a TV Critics Association panel and spoke of the new season.

Wrong Turn 2 DVD Art - Much Better

The “Wrong Turn 2″ poster (See Here) was an awful piece of doo doo. At least the DVD cover art looks better. This time around the movie follows a reality TV show where a group of people must survive in the woods, they just probably didn’t plan that would include running into the mutants from the first film. Sounds like a reality TV show I would watch.

SAW V & VI in Development

The people at HorrorMovies have learned that a SAW V and VI are already in development before part 4 has even hit theaters.

FLIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD Coming to DVD

You might remember us reporting briefly on a film called PLANE DEAD, which WIL thought would be awesome. Can’t disagree with him when the movie has a title like that. Well, the film is hitting the DVD market, but is now called FLIGHT OF THE LIVING DEAD: OUTBREAK ON A PLANE. The title cracks me up because it seems like they really wanted us to know what it was about before we bought it. They could have called it “Zombies eat people and people turn into zombies and all of this happens on a plane!”

Jason Voorhees is Back: Mother’s Day Film Released

Eric Morse’s “Friday the 13th” novel “Mother’s Day” has been made into a “fan” film by Cory Stevens and William Pattison (aka Eric Morse), which made its priemere on July 13th 2007.

Brain Hammer’s PICKS FROM THE CRYPT Vol.13

Gory greetings horroryearbok alumni! This week’s PICKS FROM THE CRYPT are another terrible trio of truly odd and often overlooked horror flicks from the early eighties. Best of all, all three of these classic flicks are now available on dvd and can be easily found at a reasonable price. Let the bloodshed begin!

TROLL Remake News

An unnecessary TROLL remake is in the works according to Bloody Disgusting. The TROLL series was created by Charles Band and is so silly that it warmed the hearts of many horror fans. TROLL 2 is a known for its bad acting and dialogue.

BABYSITTER WANTED Pictures & Trailer!

BABYSITTER WANTED sounds like a WHEN A STRANGER CALLS clone, but with gore! Check out this disturbing picture and video.

Johnny Gruesome FINALLY the Damn Review

When I started Horror Yearbook, I knew the day would come when someone we knew, someone who may have become a friend of mine and the site, would have a project that would become my job to review. That day has come, and the friend I speak of is a very close one of Horror Yearbook, Greg Lamberson.

Big Bad Wolf

This ain't no fairytale…

A group of college friends head up to a remote cabin to party, fornicate (that's a fancy word for fuck), drink and smoke a lot of weed. Once the party starts and the moon comes up, a real party animal shows up and crashes the little get-together. The strange part is, well aside from the carnage and bloodshed, is that the wolf also wants to party, drink and fuck (a not so fancy word for fornicate).

HOWL! I have to admit from the box art and back cover plot synopsis, I wasn't expecting too much from this one and I got exactly what I expected, but Big Bad Wolf also had a few surprises and moments during the film that may make it one to put on the shelf someday.

Masters of Horror (Season Two) The Black Cat - Stuart Gordon

“Re-Animator” director Stuart Gordon ha made a career for himself by developing his cinematic versions of the works from some of that all time greatest Science Fiction and Horror authors. He’s successfully adapted everything from H.P. Lovecraft (”From Beyond”), to Edgar Allen Poe (”Pit and the Pendulum”), to Ray Bradbury (”The Wonderful Ice Cream Suit”). Hell, Gordon even did a decent job bringing a David Mamet play (”Edmond”) to the screen. Never fearful of revisiting familiar themes (he’s done Lovecraft no less than four times) Gordon returns to the macabre world of Poe once again.

Deadpit Radio Hates Captivity Also

My favorite Kentucky horror guys from Deadpit.com hate Captivity also, watch the video below! Also After Dark continues to attack HorrorYearbook! (Read Their Second Blog Bashing Us!) Got to love it! We’re not the only ones who think After Dark sucks, so get off my ass.

Captivity Bombs

I am happy to report that Captivity bombed, not even making $2million, I may play idiot on the internet, but never truly thought if Hostel 2 couldn’t bring them in that his movie would.

‘Captivity’ Site Opens for Business

The June 22 After Dark Films slasher pic has its own site finally.

New Review: ‘Captivity’

It has a twist ending you can see 100 miles coming.

TALKING HORROR WITH THE MASTER OF DEATH RAP!!! - NECRO

The sick fuck known as NECRO is a hardcore hip hop artist who blends elements of horror and heavy metal to create his own brutal genre of music known as “DEATH RAP.” Necro is a worldwide phenomena, currently decapitating audiences on the SOUNDS OF THE UNDERGROUND tour. He is also highly respected in the industry for his many years of hard work as an artist, producer, director, and as the owner/CEO of his own record label, PSYCHO+LOGICAL RECORDS.

Slusho - Yet Another Cloverfield Title

I am already bored with J.J. Abrams mystery movie, but I am willing to bet the rest of the world is not, if the ratings of Lost are any indication America loves a good wild goose chase. My advice is to stop trying to figure out what the fuck the movie is about, and wait for 1-18-08-release date, or whatever that date is, who the hell knows at this point. I am also willing to bet a lot of you are not listening to me, so here are some bullet points of yet more mysteries.
