Child’s Play Remake
I am done complaining about remakes, it is absolutely pointless, but I would start hiding your home movies because Hollywood may want to “re-imagine” your childhood next. The only good news, so far, about a possible Child’s Play remake is that Don Mancini may be involved. Producer David Kirschner told Shock Till You Drop:

30 Days of Night
Barrow Alaska sits on top of the world as the northern most point on the globe. Every year, for thirty days, Barrow is covered in complete darkness. This year there will be something else in the blackness. For thirty days, they will hunt, for thirty days they will feed, for thirty days they will kill and for thirty days the people of Barrow will try and live through the longest nightmare of their lives. This is 30 Days of Night.
Based on the groundbreaking comic by Steve Niles 30 Days of Night has been ripped off of the page and plastered on the screen in violent swipes of bloody red. Is the film as good as the book? Read on.
There is a lot of good and bad in 30 Days of Night, but in the end, the good outweighs the bad and makes for a pretty damn fine horror movie. If you have never read the comic, then the film will kick ass, if you have read the comic, some of the changes may really upset you.

RESIDENT EVIL Hottie Milla Jovovich is Pregnant and Disgusting
Man, what happened to Milla Jovovich? I know you are supposed to gain weight while pregnant, but she has taken it to a new level. I figure Paul W.S. Anderson’s demon seed that is growing inside her must be really fucking hungry.

John Woo’s “Stranglehold” (2007) PC Review
Who doesn’t like John Woo? Woo is one of the greatest action directors today lending great style to films like BROKEN ARROW or FACE/OFF. So wouldn’t you like to step into the shoes of one of his characters and shoot the hell out of things? The answer is Yes and the method is John Woo’s “Stranglehold” video game. Granted, I am not usually into PC games unless they are of the SIM-variety, but for an action-packed game this couldn’t be a better choice.

30 Days of Night (2007) Movie Review
The film could have easily been called The Longest Month. For thirty days, Eben, Melissa, Eben’s brother, Jake (Mark Rendall) and a handful of survivors must figure out ways to endure until sunlight returns. The best thing to do is to hide and figure out how to outlast these super powerful predators. Guerrilla warfare tactics will come into play, but it seems the vampires are always one step ahead of their human prey.

Days of Allison
Eric Shapiros Days of Allison tells the story of Louis, a pathetic misfit with an overbearing mother who decides to do her sad sack of a son a favor. Our story takes place in a future world where artificial intelligence is the norm and its one of these RealMates that Louis mom decides is just what he needs. Enter Allison, a beauty with brains whose only purpose is to make Louis happy and love him. Things are peachy for the first four days until Allison suddenly decides to start having opinions of her own which is most definitely NOT supposed to happen, it shouldnt even be possible.
Louis life is suddenly turned upside down as Allison starts exhibiting increasingly bizarre behavior including spitting, swearing and fucking his geriatric neighbor. Louis has no choice but to send Allison to the doctor for reprogramming surgery but has second thoughts about getting a boring placid Allison in return. He decides to save her and thats when things really start to go badly (an understatement!)
