Tons of Cloverfield Pictures

Horror-Movies.ca always gets the great pictures, and I always “borrow” them for you. Below are some “action packed” shots from J. J. Abrams’ upcoming film Cloverfield, which I am kind of sick of talking about, so read all the links below to put all the pieces together.

Horror Yearbook Crashes FearZone’s Todd Farmer Interview

Since we can’t afford to do our own video interviews, we got drunk and decided to crash FearZone.com’s interview with Todd Farmer (Jason X, The Messengers).

Masters of Horror: The Washingtonians

Mike, his wife and his 10-year-old daughter have traveled to a small town where Mike’s grandmother lived. She just passed away and left him a house with a bunch of crap in the basement. Whilst rummaging around in the basement, the timid and careless daughter knocks over and rips a big painting of George Washington. Behind the painting is a letter presumably written by GW himself that could rewrite American history if authenticated. This secret however, has been known by a select few all along. They still practice the ghastly acts of this secret and vow to destroy anybody who stumbles across it intent on revealing it.

This is a fun little episode of Masters of Horror from season 2. It’s directed by Peter Medak, whoever the hell that is. There’s several holes in the story and it gets ridiculous at the end. This is what ultimately downgrades it from intriguing and compelling to fun and not-so-serious.

Want to be in the FRIDAY THE 13TH remake? Here is the Cast Breakdown

Here is the real cast breakdown for the upcoming FRIDAY THE 13TH remake by Michael Nipple and Michael Bay.

BEOWULF – Trade Paperback, BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER – Issue #8, FREDDY VS JASON VS ASH – Issue #1

Grindhouse Double Feature: SHADOW: DEAD RIOT & FLESH FOR THE BEAST (2007)

The entertaining SHADOW: DEAD RIOT is prefaced with trailers for the interesting COPKILLERS (“They want to tell you something and it’s not Happy Birthday!” ???), HELL’S BLOODY DEVILS (dirty hippy sex and swastikas), FRANKENSTEIN’S BLOODY TERROR (which is about Wolfman, of course), and EMMANUELLE & THE LAST CANNIBALS (an awesome, but strange mix of hard gore and sleaze).

Jennifer Connelly Nude (Phenomena - The Day the Earth Stood Still)

Jennifer is not what we would consider a “Scream Queen,” and she doesn’t really fit into our “Classic Horror Titties” section, but screw it…who doesn’t want to see the chick from Labyrinth naked?

Brain Hammer’s PICKS FROM THE CRYPT Vol.23: Thank God You’ve Graduated!

REVIEW: Killer Instinct

RIP Ira Levin

NEW YORK - Best-selling writer Ira Levin, whose genre-hopping novels such as the horror classic “Rosemarya€™s Baby” and the Nazi thriller “The Boys From Brazil” provided meaty movie roles for Mia Farrow and Laurence Olivier, has died of a heart attack, his agent said Tuesday. Bride of the Monster

It'll make your skin crawl!

Out in the murky swamps lives the evil genius Dr. Eric Vornoff. Obsessed with building a race of evil, atomic powered supermen, Vornoff intends on one day taking over the world and ruling mankind! But his plans for domination are in trouble, because a nosey news woman is about to open his lab and story to the world. But after she is abducted will her saviors be able to stop Vornoff and rescue her in time, or will she become the Bride of the Monster?

Bad plot, worse acting, Tor Johnson, a fake octopus, the Loch Ness Monster, horrible sets, Bela Lugosi and more stock footage than you can shake a stick at can only mean one thing, that’s right it’s another Ed Wood classic. While not as famous, or should I say infamous, as his 1959 landmark Plan 9 from Outer Space, Bride of the Monster is still a diamond in the rough for any fan of bad movies. But, hell, since it’s an Ed Wood film, it’s always a little worse than it could be, but that’s what makes it so damn good.

Zombie Games!!!

This Horror Guy likes video games and loves me some zombies, so imagine my glee when I opened the ol’ Horror Guy inbox and found a message from one Warren A. inviting me to try out the beta version of Zombie Games at zombiegames.net. So I checked it out and I gotta say I was impressed enough to add them to my list of Blood Brothers. If you enjoy flash-based Internet fun and things of a zombie nature, this site is for you. Happy gaming!!!
