Christina Ricci - Cursed, Sleepy Hollow, The Gathering

Her early start in horror came when she starred as the dainty and devilish Wednesday in The Addams Family. She was perfect as the mischievous yet innocent little girl who had a twisted sense of “fun”. But looking at these pictures and thinking of her that young is sort of creepy. So let’s turn our attention to the far more recent werewolf movie Christina starred in, Cursed. Werewolf fans owe it to themselves to watch this one, its really got some great scenes in it, (like the totally sweet Shannon Elizabeth death scene, or Christina wolfing out and tearing the hell out of some guy’s neck), but be sure to get the Unrated Version.

This sexy black and white stripe candid was a natural choice for the part where I shall discuss Ricci’s steamy role in Tim Burton’s Sleepy Hollow. One look in her huge frightful eyes and her creamy cleavage spilling out of her busting bodice, and I died and went to heaven… but I bailed and came back down to earth because I had to see her in the rest of the movie. And finish my soda. Hey, that shit’s expensive.

An often overlooked horror movie in Christina Ricci’s portfolio is The Gathering. This movie has a very strange and unsettling Lynch-esque feel to it, and moves at a deliberately subdued pace to really draw out the tension and dread, so its not recommended if you’re looking for something to really get your blood pumping… unless you’re like me and Christina Ricci really gets your blood pumping, in which case I want to fight you. To the death. She is MINE! ALL MINE!
