Hilary Swank Does Hammer Horror
Hillary Swank, Oscar winning star of “Million Dollar Baby”, is set to star in a new American horror movie produced by the new version of Hammer Films.
The film is entitled “The Resident,” and it’s about a woman stalked by her psycho landlord. It’s also going to be filmed in America apparently. Antti J. Jokinen is directing his own script, co-written with Robert Orr and revised by Erin Cressida.
Not sure how big this is for fans of Hammer Horror, as this film is being shot in the U.S. When I first heard the news, I had images of Swank playing a British aristocrat from the 1700s battling vampires or something — but that cleary ins’t happening.
