Sarah Michelle Gellar - Buffy the Vampire Slayer, The Grudge

The most ass-kicking vampire-slaying horror babe on TV has got to be Sarah Michelle Gellar as Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Demanding to do most of her own stunts, Sarah proved that she is just as tough as the titular wise-cracking stake-slinger she portrayed on the best television horror show of the last decade. A scream queen of a different breed, she would kick the crap out of monsters rather than squeal and run away. Buffy the Vampire Slayer ran for seven successful seasons and rightfully earned one of the most avid and rabid fanbases of any show ever to grace the small screen.

Despite being the epitome of girl power, Sarah Michelle Gellar has also done her fair share of falling victim to nasty baddies. She met an untimely end by being stabbed repeatedly in the back in Scream 2, and was impaled on a huge fisherman’s hook in I Know What You Did Last Summer. But in The Grudge and The Grudge 2, Sarah returned to the role that suits her best: lovely leading lady to be reckoned with!
