Aliens to Return to Terrorizing Comics Soon!
Pretty much the biggest news in horror comics this month is that the first issue of the newest Aliens series is now available for pre-order (click here). Published by Dark Horse Comics, who was responsible for bringing Aliens to comics in the first place, this issue marks the first non-spin-off Aliens story in almost a decade.
Unbelievable.
With such a long wait, I pretty much assumed suspended animation technology would arrive first, and my plan was to freeze myself in time until Aliens comics became a reality again. Imagine my relief that such expensive and time consuming measures will not be necessary, for now I need only wait until May 27th!
Even more good news is that there will be a tasty Aliens snack to hold me over until then: Dark Horse’s all-new free Aliens/Predator comic book on Free Comic Book Day (May 2nd)! And as if all this were not enough, what should finally happen to release earlier this month but my long awaited Alien VCD who now sits on my desk threatening all who dare come near him. Damn, its a frickin’ great time to be an Aliens fan right now!
