Creature From the Hillbilly Lagoon (2007) The Playground Movie Review
Writer/Director: Richard Griffin
Cast: Does it matter?
aka Seepage!
After toxic chemicals are dumped into a “lagoon” a team of science geeks from the local college are sent out to investigate the site. What they find is disgusting pollution, inbred rednecks, bloodthirsty humanoid fishes and *GULP* a shitty movie!
The students are taking specimens when one of them gets bitten by something in the water. They don’t think much of it until the professor tells a story of giant fish-men and the poor guy starts to show signs of turning into a fish. Meanwhile, there are rednecks in the woods looking for their kinfolk who have been missing since their fishing trip. They soon find that they have been attacked by the fish-man and now the fishy hunts them!
