Vampira Dies of Natural Causes
You can stop the whole “did Elvira rip-off Vampira” debate because it doesn’t matter anymore. Maila Nurmi aka Vampira passed away in her sleep at the age of 86 due to natural causes.
Nurmi was known for being one of the first TV horror hosts and of course for her role as “Vampire Girl” in Ed Wood’s Plan 9 from Outer Space.
